            News and Information
  • Our Halloween Party will be on Friday, Oct. 27th.  Parents can arrive at 11:30 to help set up and get the kids dressed in their costumes.  Please send your child’s costume to school with them on Friday (please don’t wait and bring it with you, just in case you are running late-- kids tend to get a little frantic if it’s not here).  The parade will start at 12 with the party following after.  Special note about costumes--NO weapons of any kind, please keep blood and gore to a minimum.
  • READING CHALLENGE- 2nd Quarter Reading Challenges are in your child’s folder.  They will be due before Christmas Break--have fun finding exciting ways to read!
  • Our field trip to the Pumpkin Patch will be Wednesday, October 25th.  Don’t forget to have them wear tennis shoes and to bring a sack lunch and drink (unless they ordered one from the school cafeteria).  We plan to start loading buses in the bus lane just after 9 if you are coming and would like to follow the bus.  Remember, parents must pay $3 at the pumpkin patch to attend.
  • Next week we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week.   Please see the following schedule:  **Please note 1st grade will not dress up on Wednesday due to our field trip!
