Language Workshop
We started our Friendship unit by reading “Farfallina and Marcel” and “Help! A Story of Friendship.” We did a lot of practice on capitalizing the beginning of a sentence, the sight word “I” and names. We will continue to practice using capitalizing correctly this quarter.
Math Workshop
This week we started our first module on Sums and Differences to 10. We focused on parts of 5, 6, 7, and 8.  We made number bonds and wrote addition sentences to match them.
Writing Workshop
This week we practiced writing to a picture prompt.  We also practiced going back and rereading our writing and adding more to it.
Word Study
This week we reviewed beginning sounds and assessed on them. Next week will begin our weekly word sorts.
